Job description


We are expanding and are looking for a Technical Product Owner (Frontend) (m/f/d), as soon as possible for a full-time position to energetically support the product management team in our Munich office.


Ideally, you come from a technical / web software engineering background and are able to communicate with our developers and designers on eyes' level. This Technical Product Owner role involves in-depth specification of new products and improvement of existing products that enable our merchants the detailed orchestration / configuration of their payment processing and offers analytics through graphical user interfaces.



  • Be a "servant-leader" for a team of developers and designers in an agile manner
  • Analyse new requirements with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Work with user interface designers to create great frontends
  • Understand our technical system of configuration, processing, and reporting on an API level
  • Moderate between stakeholders and propose balanced implementation paths
  • Analyze, adjust, or draft internal APIs, simple algorithms and data structures, without coding yourself
  • Involve software architects to finalise specifications
  • Plan sprints, track progress and estimated delivery
  • Document your products for our customers’ users and developers



  • Developer background, or computer science or similar degree, or at least 2 years of experience as a technical product owner
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML and REST APIs
  • First-hand experience in frontend coding
  • Strong analytical skills to compose products in detail
  • Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and team members
  • Fluent English language skills
  • A hands-on startup- and team player attitude

  • Hands-on experience with programming for webservice APIs
  • German language skills
