E-commerce continues to grow dynamically and payments are an important part of it. Payments are one of the last big areas vulnerable to disruption and optile has a superior range of solutions and unique value propositions that will help us to succeed within this growing market.


We are expanding and are looking for a Senior Sales Manager (m/f) as soon as possible as a full-time employee in our Munich office. 


  • expansion of the business by acquiring new customers
  • building and growing a strong sales pipeline
  • maintaining and building strong business relationships
  • grow revenue through direct B2B selling
  • coordination of all facets in the sales cycle (introducing technical sales support, project management, write offers, prepare closing plans, support contract negotiations)
  • develop and execute a sales plan to target different markets and expand the business operations of the company
  • contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes, strategies and structure
  • close coordination with the management (reporting directly to the VP Sales), and the team from marketing, customer success, project management and onboarding



  • college diploma or higher education 
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B or software-solution sales
  • strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to talk and present confidently in front of stakeholders and senior management
  • deep understanding of a complex technology environment
  • proven track record of executing sales successes and influencing complex deals
  • a hands-on startup- and team player attitude
  • practical and innovative problem solving capabilities
  • high motivation to expand technical and interpersonal skills 
  • fluent English and German language skills
  • willingness to travel


  • experience and excellent understanding of the online payment industry is a big advantage
