Job description


We are expanding and looking for a highly-motivated Senior Partner Manager (m/f) to actively
support our team in our Munich office.

The Senior Partner Manager will be responsible to engage partners from other online-payment
companies, banks, consultancies, independent software vendors and others to help in creating a
partner-ecosystem around the optile platform.

The main purpose of the position is to create this ecosystem of partners, the Open Partner
Network, around the technical platform of optile and to bring the “implement once – expand to
anywhere” – promise of the optile platform to partners and merchants using it.


  • engaging assigned partners to the optile platform
  • delivering the message of the optile Open Payment World
  • committing partners to joint sales and marketing activities
  • representing the entire range of optile's products and services
  • converting partners into optile enthusiasts
  • persuading partners of the benefits of optile Open Payments


  • engaging the different partners to work closely with optile
  • building a pipeline of potential customers together with the partners to hand over to direct sales
  • winning and development of new partners
  • monitoring the success of the partner portfolio
  • organisation, execution of workshops and trainings with partners to convince them of the benefits of the optile Partner Network
  • coordinating, managing all partner related activities and creating the optile Partner Network
  • organising partner and knowledge sharing events

  • understanding of B2B sales
  • fluent/close to native in English and German writing and editing skills
  • 5+ years experience in partner management, account management, sales ideally in e-commerce or technology
  • a hands-on, startup-, and team player attitude
  • a good technical understanding
  • an analytical mindset
  • proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


  • experience in international environments
  • knowledge of digital business models or the online payment industry
  • basic understanding of web technologies
  • university degree(s)
